Webinar Hosted by Ashinaga in collaboration with The African Story Teller

Ashinaga is excited to announce “Building Africa’s Next Generation of Successful Leaders”. This is a webinar being held on August 12 at 10:00-12:00 South African Time (GMT+2) in collaboration with The African Story Teller, a company founded and directed by Kenjin-Tatsujin Advisory Board member, Thulisile Phiri.

The discussion will be introduced by some renowned African leaders and industry experts. They will talk about the future of youth leadership and entrepreneurship in Africa. Speakers will include Ashinaga’s President and Founder Yoshiomi Tamai, Ms. Yvonne Chaka Chaka, a South African singer and songwriter, His Excellency Ambrose Dlamini, Prime Minister of Eswatini, Ambassador Norio Maruyama, the Ambassador of Japan to South Africa, Dr. Lassina Zerbo, the Secretary of the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization, Mr. Mamadou Toure, Founder of Ubuntu Tribe and Chairman of Africa 2.0, and Mr. Mamadou Kolade, Director of External Affairs and Board Member of Mara phones.

Due to the cancellation of bokin (street fundraising) in Japan, Ashinaga had to find a new source of donations to sustain its activities. Our collaboration with The African Story Teller is an opportunity to run a joint fundraising event to support the Ashinaga Africa Initiative (AAI). The Ashinaga Africa Initiative is an international leadership program that cultivates the next generation of leaders to contribute to the development of sub-Saharan Africa. AAI Scholars have lost one or both parents and are committed to returning to sub-Saharan Africa to initiate change, innovation, and development. The AAI provides financial support for international university degrees, along with leadership training and support to develop Scholars into compassionate changemakers. Proceeds from the event will go toward Ashinaga Uganda, where the Ashinaga Africa Initiative Scholars receive leadership training before university.

Don’t miss out on an opportunity to hear from some of Africa’s top experts on African development and leading entrepreneurs.

If you can, we encourage you to donate to support Ashinaga’s activities. Your contribution will help us provide financial support and training to talented young leaders from across the African continent.
